Preparing and disseminating relevant documents concerning each student’s EHCP upon entry to the setting.

Collaborating with the Head of Therapeutic Provision to plan for the social, emotional, and mental health needs of each student.

Assisting the Headteacher in applications for additional support and specific examination papers.

Day-to-day coordination of student provisions through close liaison with staff, families, and external agencies.

Ensuring equal importance in the learning of all students, with high and realistic expectations set for each.

Assisting with parent contact forms, attending various meetings and required training.

Commuting to Rayleigh, Essex.
SENDCO Responsibilities:

Participating in the performance management process, taking personal responsibility for identifying learning, development, and training opportunities in discussion with the line manager.

Complying with health and safety responsibilities as per the role.

To work with teachers, hub and pastoral staff to ensure all student’s learning is of equal importance and that there are high and realistic expectations of all students.

Experience in a senior leadership post within education

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
