Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Support Worker to join a welcoming SEN school in a rural location near Guildford, Surrey. Please note: A full driving licence is essential due to the rural setting.

Role Details

  • Location: Near Guildford, Surrey
  • Hours: Full-time Mon-Thurs 08:00, Fri 08:45
  • Pay: £13.50–£14.50 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
  • Contract: Long-term / Temp-to-Perm

The Role

You will provide consistent, compassionate support to students with complex needs, offering emotional guidance, promoting safeguarding, and helping young people reach their full potential in a nurturing school environment.

About You

  • Reliable, committed, and able to work full-time, providing stability and consistency for students
  • Caring, patient, and empathetic, with a positive and proactive approach
  • Confident supporting young people with additional needs, behaviours, or mental health challenges
  • Willing to travel to a rural location and work as part of a supportive team
  • Previous experience with children or adults with SEND is beneficial, but not essential
