Look no further! We’re thrilled to partner with an exceptional all-through SEN School in Borehamwood that’s looking for dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to join their amazing team. This fantastic school supports Primary and Secondary learners, focusing on empowering students with tailored educational experiences. Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Salary: £85 – £90 per day (Inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay) Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire Contract: Temp to Perm Key Responsibilities of a SEN Learning Support Assistant: * Student Support: Build warm, caring relationships with students to help them feel safe and supported, fostering an environment where they can enjoy and learn. * Promote Independence: Encourage personal development and independence in students, maintaining high expectations of behaviour. * Educational Activities: Assist in providing high-quality, challenging, and differentiated educational activities that help students reach their full potential. * Classroom Assistance: The SEN Learning Support Assistant will support the Class Teacher with daily classroom activities and ensure smooth operation. * Adaptability: Respond to the changing needs of the school and adapt to various tasks as required. * Holistic Development: Promote the cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development, and spiritual well-being of students. SEN Learning Support Assistant Skills and Qualifications: * Education: Minimum Grade 4 or equivalent in GCSE Maths and English Language. * Safeguarding Knowledge: Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures. * SEN Experience: Previous experience working with pupils with SEN desirable. * Transportation: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or ability to commute to near Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. * Compliance: Must have a Full-Time Right to Work status.
