We are looking for Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants able to commute to Thetford, Norfolk, to join our books for March 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Location: Thetford and surrounding area, Norfolk

Position: Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants

Start Date: March 2026

Contract: Temp to Perm

Salary: £14.01 - £15.50/hr depending on experience

As a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant in the Thetford area, Norfolk, you will play a key role in supporting teachers and pupils, ensuring all children can access learning and reach their full potential.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Provide classroom support for both teachers and pupils.
  • Assist in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Work with small groups or one-to-one to support learning and engagement.
  • Help with classroom preparation and resource development.
  • Support behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Encourage pupil independence and participation in learning activities.
Skills and Requirements:
  • Hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Are passionate about supporting children with ASD and SEMH needs.
  • Have experience working in a school or similar setting.
  • Are patient, understanding, and committed to inclusive education.
  • Can work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Must be able to commute to Thetford and the surrounding area, Norfolk.
