At Inspire EHC, we are looking for a Lead Teacher for a Specialist Resource Base (SRB) within a welcoming primary academy in King’s Lynn. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership-focused teaching role, supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition in a well-supported, inclusive setting.
The Role
- Joining a dedicated SRB team, providing high-quality teaching and leadership while covering a teacher on short-term absence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading teaching and learning within the SRB provision.
- Supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) to access a tailored curriculum.
- Creating a structured, nurturing and engaging learning environment.
- Working closely with support staff, SENCOs and senior leadership.
- Providing consistency during a period of staff absence.
- Modelling best practice in SEND teaching and inclusive education.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with ASC / Autism.
- Experience in SEN, SRB, or specialist settings.
- Confidence stepping into a lead or senior role.
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Leadership experience is highly desirable, but equally important is your ability to build relationships and create a positive, supportive space for learners.
