Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons suitable for students with complex needs
- Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Implement specialist teaching strategies to support children with diverse and complex needs
- Assess and monitor student progress, recording achievement and areas for development
- Promote a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment for all students
- Work with external professionals and families to ensure holistic student support
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant teaching experience in SEN settings
- Experience in working with children with complex needs and special educational needs
- Strong behaviour management skills and patience
- The ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual student needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive approach to supporting inclusive learning environments
