Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes
- Support pupils with ASC, SEMH and complex needs
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
- Contribute to EHCP reviews, annual reviews, and multi‑agency meetings
- Work collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team (Therapists, SEN staff, TA support)
- Create a safe, structured and positive learning environment
- Implement behaviour strategies to support pupils with challenging behaviours
- Promote pupil progress in academic, social and emotional development
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
- Experience teaching KS1 / KS2 (or equivalent SEN setting)
