Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time only - Start time 8.15am - Finish time Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 4.45pm, Thursday 5pm and Friday 4pm

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist school for students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The school takes a nurturing and inclusive approach, supporting young people to access the national curriculum in a way that suits their individual needs, while working towards meaningful vocational qualifications as they prepare for life beyond school.

- Assist with lesson planning and resource preparation
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Holds a Level 2 (or above) qualification in Teaching & Learning Support (desirable)
- Has GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
- Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Has knowledge of SEN, including SEMH and/or ASD
- Takes a consistent, child-centred approach to support
- Brings a positive and creative mindset to meet individual needs
- Is willing to engage in behaviour support strategies, including Team Teach physical intervention if required
- Can complete accurate and timely reports
