We are seeking an inspirational Assistant Head of Faculty to join our leadership team. This is a pivotal role designed for a highly effective teacher with a proven track record of excellence, ready to step into a leadership position that directly impacts the skills and destinations of our learners.
The Role
- Curriculum Innovation: Engaging with qualification reforms to ensure our Computing portfolio is industry-relevant and high-quality.
- Quality Excellence: Driving robust quality assurance processes and embedding continuous improvement across all TLA (Teaching, Learning, and Assessment).
- Team Leadership: Line managing and supporting delivery staff, fostering a culture of professional development and high performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong networks with awarding bodies and local employers to create elite employment opportunities for our students.
- Operational Management: Managing staff timetables, recruitment targets, and student progress to ensure the faculty runs at peak efficiency.
About You
- A full teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) and a relevant degree or professional industry qualification.
- The ability to deliver high-quality TLA across multiple levels.
- A "can-do" attitude towards change, particularly regarding Ofsted readiness and MIS data accuracy.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate both staff and students.
