Salary: £29,725 – £37,527 per annum (pro‑rate)

Hours: 30.83 hrs per week, all year round

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver engaging lessons across music production and performance – inspiring students to reach their full potential.
  • Plan, assess, and provide meaningful feedback that helps learners grow both technically and creatively.
  • Coordinate elements of the course, ensuring high‑quality delivery and effective internal verification.
  • Support students with live briefs, performances, and real‑world industry experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously develop and enhance our curriculum.
  • Embed essential English and maths skills into your teaching.

About you

  • Has strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of music production, performance, composition and technology.
  • Can inspire and motivate learners through creative, student‑centred teaching.
  • Brings industry or teaching experience (or ideally both).
  • Is confident using music technology software and digital tools.
  • Holds (or is willing to work towards) a recognised teaching qualification.
