Are you a skilled bricklayer with a passion for sharing your expertise and shaping the next generation of construction professionals? Stamford College is looking for a dynamic and inspiring Lecturer in Bricklaying to join our thriving Modern Construction team!

This is an incredible opportunity to make a real impact, guiding students from Level 1 to Level 3, and helping them master the craft of bricklaying. You\’ll play a vital role in their learning journey, from delivering engaging lessons to providing crucial feedback and preparing them for successful careers.

What You\’ll Be Doing:

As a Lecturer in Bricklaying, you\’ll be at the heart of our students\’ development. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering high-quality teaching and assessment on a range of Bricklaying courses (Levels 1-3).

Creating engaging course materials, schemes of work, and group profiles.

Assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and monitoring progress.

Developing and strengthening relationships with learners, offering support to ensure their success.

Actively contributing to course development, promotion, and delivery.

Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are meticulously followed.

Assisting with internal verification duties and supporting student work experience placements.

Participating in student recruitment activities, including interviews and open evenings.

Embedding essential English and maths skills into all learning activities.

We\’re Looking for Someone Who Is:

A skilled Bricklayer with comprehensive and recent industry experience.

Qualified to teach the subject at Level 3 or 4, HND, degree, or holds professional industry qualifications.

Holds a minimum of Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.

Has an Assessor Award (A1/TQA/CAVA) (essential).

Creative, innovative, and passionate about inspiring students.

An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Organised, adaptable, and a fantastic team player.
