What You'll Do

  • Deliver safe, respectful and person-centred care to individuals in their own homes and/or supported living settings
  • Support with personal care, daily living activities, mobility, meals and hydration
  • Provide medication support where trained, competent and authorised
  • Encourage independence, wellbeing and participation in social and community activities
  • Observe and report changes in individuals' health and wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate and confidential care records
  • Follow care plans, risk assessments and Caring@Home Ltd policies and procedures
  • Comply with safeguarding, health and safety and infection control requirements
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, colleagues and other professionals
  • Complete apprenticeship training, attend learning sessions and work towards achieving the apprenticeship qualification
