Responsibilities
- Assist the Housing Officer in providing efficient, customer-focused housing management services.
- Handle tenant enquiries, ensuring a "right first time" approach and referring issues appropriately.
- Support rent and service charge monitoring, including following up on arrears and payments.
- Help log, track, and follow up repair requests and estate maintenance issues.
- Participate in estate inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.
- Assist in managing anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases, maintaining accurate case records.
- Provide administrative support, ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping.
- Support community engagement initiatives such as resident meetings and satisfaction surveys.
- Promote equality, diversity, and safeguarding within all aspects of the role.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Estate Director.
- Respond to vulnerability: use appropriate levels of skill and judgement to understand and support vulnerable individuals and groups (including those with complex needs).
- Demonstrate effective communication skills to enable timely identification and resolution of issues; signpost customers who need additional support to other colleagues or partner agencies.
- Organise and plan work flexibly to prioritise tasks and meet agreed timescales.
- Use IT equipment and housing/property management software effectively, including housing-related work equipment.
- Make effective decisions to ensure tasks are completed in line with instruction and on time.

Qualifications & Experience
- GCSE in English (grade 4-9 or equivalent) and Maths (grade 4-9 or equivalent).
- Experience or relevant qualifications in communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem solving, presentation, administration, teamwork, initiative, non-judgemental attitude and patience are desirable.
