Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Venue Sourcing Consultant based in Putney. The Venue Sourcing Consultant will be responsible for sourcing venues for events across various locations, ensuring ideal matches for client requirements while negotiating optimal rates. Key duties will include:
- Conducting in-depth research
- Maintaining client communication to assess needs
- Maintaining relationships with vendors and venues
- Staying updated on industry trends
- Assisting in creating and delivering tailored proposals that reflect the client’s vision while ensuring high levels of service and professionalism
Qualifications
- Strong research, organizational, and analytical skills to identify and evaluate suitable venues
- Proficiency in negotiation, vendor relationship management, and event coordination
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills to capture and address clients' needs
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of the events industry, trends, and familiarity with venues, particularly in London and the UK
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools is an asset
- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
