This role will be based at the Maths Hub, 5 Surrey Street, Norwich, NR1 3NX.

Angles Maths Hub has a unique vacancy for an Assistant Maths Hub Lead (Reception and Operations).

This full time, permanent role, is open to experienced teachers, currently, or recently, working in a Reception class. The role involves working with and liaising with primary schools in the Norfolk and Suffolk region to recruit and oversee the delivery of Reception Maths Hub CPD. You will have oversight of the Early Years delivery team. The role also provides operational support within our support team to ensure the smooth running of the Maths Hub.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Coordinating operational support for the Angles Maths Hub
• Line management responsibilities
• Organising and facilitate events related to the Angles Maths Hub
• Managing communications with stakeholders
• Working and liaising with Reception classes and primary schools in the Norfolk and Suffolk region
• Recruit and oversight of the delivery of Reception Maths Hub CPD
• Developing Intensive Support in schools on the Targeted Support programme.

About You:

The successful candidate will be an excellent team player, have a 'can-do' attitude and will be committed to continuous improvement. You will be well-organised, with a pro-active approach to work showing clear communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptable problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Reception teacher, with a detailed understanding of the Reception curriculum. You will have a desire to strengthen early mathematics provision and improving outcomes for young children across the Angles Maths Hub region.

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Expert knowledge of the Reception curriculum
• Reception and Primary teaching expertise
• Confidence leading/collaborating with peers
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Experience of delivering CPDAn understanding of the Maths Hub network
• Experience of all aspects of line management
