We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Administration Assistant to join our Maths Hub. The successful candidate will provide administrative support within a team of support staff. This is an exciting time for Maths at the Inspiration Trust, as the reach of the team grows the need for a strong administrative support team is paramount.
What You’ll Be Doing
- To provide administrative and clerical support services to a high standard, supporting management, other office staff, and teachers in an efficient, positive, professional and effective manner.
- To offer a professional and courteous service to all stakeholders, ensuring all visitors are made to feel welcome and provide hospitality as required.
- To proactively support the planning, organising and hosting of events, and providing general assistance with general correspondence and invitations.
- To assist with data and communications with stakeholders as required.
- To undertake any other duties of an administrative nature and any other duties that are within the scope of the post as determined by the Maths Hub Support Lead and Leadership Team.
About You
- You will be an individual with strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of attention to detail.
- You will demonstrate adaptability, effective problem‑solving skills, good time management, and confidence in using ICT.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills/GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English.
- General or administrative experience.
- Fully competent at using ICT.
- Ability to work on own initiative and to prioritise day to day workload.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
- Experience of working in an education environment.
