The predicted salary is between 32833 - 35892 £ per year.
This is a full time position of 37 hours over 5 days per week from Monday to Friday, however both full time and part time applications are welcome and encouraged. Please indicate in your application the number of hours you can work in each week. If you are shortlisted for interview, you can discuss working pattern with the panel.
This role will be based primarily at Great Yarmouth Primary Academy, Dickens Avenue, Great Yarmouth, NR30 3DT, but working across other Inspiration Trust schools may be required. Therefore, reliable transport and the ability to travel independently to multiple locations are necessary.

Great Yarmouth Primary Academy is looking for a Site Manager to take the lead in ensuring our school environment is safe, secure, and ready to support the success of our students and staff every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responsible for the day‑to‑day management and maintenance of the Academy’s buildings and grounds.
- Oversee site security, carry out routine maintenance, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Play a key role in keeping our facilities in top shape; from making sure heating and lighting systems are functioning, to ensuring our site is compliant with all relevant legislation.
- Lead a small team, manage budgets, support improvement projects, and keep our Academy minibus clean and road‑ready.
About You
- Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills, combined with knowledge of safety regulations.
- Proactive, resilient, able to handle daily challenges, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Practical experience in site maintenance and security.
- A good understanding of health and safety and statutory regulations.
- A proactive approach and strong organisational skills.
- Experience managing a team and budgets.
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff and external representatives.
- Experience working in a school setting.
- Awareness of environmental and sustainability strategies.
