We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager to drive marketing initiatives to drive growth and adoption of our SaaS solutions within the higher education market. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in the education industry, capable of developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales objectives. You will be instrumental in shaping our market presence and contributing directly to our success.
Key responsibilities & Duties
- Development and Execution of GTM Strategies: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, content, events, PR) to achieve business goals and drive pipeline growth.
- Marketing Automation & CRM Management: Oversee the strategy, implementation, and optimization of marketing automation platforms to streamline nurturing campaigns and enhance customer journeys. Ensure effective integration with CRM systems for seamless data flow and reporting.
- Website Strategy & Management: Lead the strategy, development, and ongoing management of the company website, ensuring it is optimized for user experience, SEO, lead conversion, and reflects the latest brand messaging and product offerings.
- Content Marketing Leadership: Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and website copy that resonates with our target audience and positions us as a thought leader.
- Digital Marketing Management: Manage and optimize all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and display advertising, ensuring strong ROI. Develop and execute engaging social media strategies to build community and drive brand awareness.
- Lead Generation & Nurturing: Implement effective lead generation strategies and develop nurturing campaigns to guide prospects through the sales funnel.
- Global Event Planning & Execution: Plan, organize, and execute both virtual and in-person events globally, including webinars, conferences, and trade shows, to generate leads, build relationships, and enhance brand visibility.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to identify areas for improvement and optimize future efforts.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and product teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives and ensure a cohesive customer journey.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize impact and achieve strategic goals.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing in higher education or online learning sectors or with a SaaS company.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable results (e.g., lead generation, MQLs, SQLs, revenue).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and other relevant tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management platforms).
- Event planning experience, both in-person and virtual.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce) and marketing automation tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and compelling storytelling.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
