A1 Jobs have an excellent opportunity for a CCTV Engineer with our client, this is a mobile role covering the West of Scotland.
As a CCTV Engineer, your responsibilities will include
- Install & commission CCTV systems (IP-based, Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, Hanwha; Ajax is a plus).
- Maintain and fault-fix CCTV systems.
- Troubleshoot, problem-solve and complete job documentation accurately.
- Train clients on systems and identify false alarm risks.
- Manage van stock and ensure equipment is pre-checked before jobs.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures; conduct risk assessments.
- Represent the company professionally on client sites.
As a CCTV Engineer Skills & Experience Needed
- Experience with CCTV system installations and commissioning.
- Familiarity with British Standards for CCTV.
- Strong understanding of IP networking, system configuration, and IT systems.
- Comfortable working independently and outdoors.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible approach to travel and working hours.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence required
- CSCS card (or equivalent Health & Safety certification) essential
- BS7858 screening documents (e.g., Passport, Utility Bill, Drivers Licence) must be provided
