A1 Jobs have an excellent opportunity for a CCTV Engineer with our client, this is a mobile role covering the West of Scotland.

As a CCTV Engineer, your responsibilities will include

  • Install & commission CCTV systems (IP-based, Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, Hanwha; Ajax is a plus).
  • Maintain and fault-fix CCTV systems.
  • Troubleshoot, problem-solve and complete job documentation accurately.
  • Train clients on systems and identify false alarm risks.
  • Manage van stock and ensure equipment is pre-checked before jobs.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures; conduct risk assessments.
  • Represent the company professionally on client sites.

As a CCTV Engineer Skills & Experience Needed

  • Experience with CCTV system installations and commissioning.
  • Familiarity with British Standards for CCTV.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking, system configuration, and IT systems.
  • Comfortable working independently and outdoors.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Flexible approach to travel and working hours.

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence required
  • CSCS card (or equivalent Health & Safety certification) essential
  • BS7858 screening documents (e.g., Passport, Utility Bill, Drivers Licence) must be provided
