If you enjoy getting stuck into fault finding, fixing problems and working with customers, this could be the perfect role for you.
You’ll be working independently across the South of England servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial gym equipment, while helping our clients keep their facilities running smoothly.
Whether you already have experience working on fitness equipment or you’ve worked on other mechanical or electrical equipment, we’d love to hear from you.
Full product training is provided, so the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as experience.
At Inspace Fitness, we genuinely care about our clients and the service we provide.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys meeting people and always goes the extra mile to help.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Servicing and maintaining our range of cardiovascular and strength equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance visits.
- Responding to service calls allocated by the Service Manager.
- Completing service reports and keeping accurate records.
- Supporting equipment installations when needed.
- Delivering excellent customer service on every visit.
- Managing your diary and workload while working remotely.
- What We’re Looking For
You’ll be someone who enjoys solving problems and doesn't mind rolling up your sleeves to get the job done.
Ideally you’ll have
- A good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical repairs.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own time.
- A flexible approach to travel and working hours.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
It would also be great if you have
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer.
- Experience working on commercial fitness equipment or similar electro-mechanical products.
Don't worry if you haven't worked on gym equipment before—if you’ve got the right attitude and transferable engineering skills, we’ll provide all the training you need.
- What You’ll Get
- Salary starting from £35,000, depending on experience.
- Company vehicle.
- Company mobile phone and laptop.
- Ongoing support from our experienced Service Manager.
- Regular development reviews and opportunities to grow with the business.
- Workplace pension.
- A Few Things to Know
This role involves travelling to customer sites across the South of England most days, so you’ll need to be happy driving and working independently.
There’ll be the occasional early start, and from time to time you may be asked to travel outside your usual area to support the wider team.
If you’re someone who enjoys fixing things, meeting people and taking pride in doing a great job, we’d love to hear from you.
