Summary: We are seeking a motivated scientist with a solid scientific background and a strong interest in advancing their career in scientific data and informatics management. As part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of chemists, biologists, and informatics professionals, you will play a critical role in developing a cutting-edge data platform to drive drug discovery efforts. This is a unique opportunity for a scientist with a strong interest in and understanding of data curation, database management, and FAIR data policies. Responsibilities, * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain a data platform supporting drug discovery initiatives.

  • Curate, standardise, and manage scientific data, ensuring alignment with FAIR data principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).

  • Implement and manage Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs), compound registration, and assay data management workflows using tools such as Dotmatics or Revvity.

  • Help develop and maintain databases for scientific data, supporting experimental workflows and discovery research.

  • Utilise SQL and data analytics tools like Spotfire, Vortex, or similar platforms to analyse and visualise chemical and biological data effectively.

  • Contribute to the harmonisation and FAIRification of data across internal and external systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

  • Provide support and training for scientists using informatics tools and platforms.

  • Collaborate with our CROs to standardise and streamline our data capture protocols from their systems.

  • Join discussions with our LIMS stakeholders to plan for automation of data capture

  • Ph.D. or M.Sc. in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, computational sciences)

  • Demonstrated interest in data curation and management in a drug discovery or scientific research setting.

  • Some understanding of modern LIMS, ELNs, and related informatics platforms such as Dotmatics or Revvity.

  • Working knowledge of FAIR data policies and principles.

  • Hands-on experience with SQL, data analytics, and visualisation tools (e.g., Spotfire, Vortex, Python, or other data analysis software).

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex datasets and workflows.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
