Our clients expanding Corporate & International Tax team is seeking ambitious tax professionals to join them across their national office network. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects across all sectors in a supportive, growing environment.
About the Role
You will work on a broad range of corporate tax matters, from compliance to complex advisory projects, gaining exposure to varied clients and transactions. Our team focuses on delivering high-quality services while supporting your professional development and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver corporate tax advisory projects including compliance, reorganisations, M&A structuring, tax due diligence, and demergers
- Manage corporate and shareholder restructurings
- Handle tax accounting matters including corporate and deferred tax workings and disclosures (including consolidated accounts)
- Deal directly with clients and intermediaries
- Identify opportunities for additional tax services
- Develop and mentor junior staff members including graduates
- Manage projects effectively with strong attention to deadlines and quality
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- ATT/CTA and/or ACA qualified
- Minimum 3 years' experience (Assistant Manager level) or 4 years' experience (Manager level) in a corporate tax role
- High level of exposure to corporate tax advisory projects
- Direct client and intermediary experience
- Strong technical knowledge across key corporate tax areas including:
- Tax treatment of exceptional items (deal fees, right of use assets, assets under construction)
- Treatment of accruals/provisions and pension scheme adjustments
- Loss relief planning and group relief
- Corporate interest restriction calculations
- Controlled foreign company returns
- Corporate and deferred tax disclosures
