About the Role
We're looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior to support our accounts team, managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality accounts, tax and advisory services. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive, forward-thinking practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as main point of contact for a portfolio of clients
- Prepare statutory accounts, management accounts, and personal/corporation tax computations
- Deliver accurate, high-quality work to professional and regulatory standards
- Meet deadlines while managing workload and priorities effectively
- Support senior team members on client deliverables
- Mentor and support junior staff, allocating and reviewing their work
- Contribute to improving team processes and quality controls
- Keep up to date with CPD and technical knowledge
Requirements
- Part-qualified ACA/ACCA/ATT (or equivalent), or working towards
- 3+ years' experience in an accountancy practice, particularly accounts prep and personal tax
- Familiarity with accounting/tax software (e.g. IRIS, CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent)
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Good communication, organisation, and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage own workload
