This senior role requires exceptional client engagement capabilities, strong team leadership skills, and advanced technical expertise to provide strategic tax guidance. Candidates may bring specialized knowledge in specific industry sectors or particular advisory disciplines as outlined below.
Key Accountabilities
- Direct corporate tax compliance operations for an extensive client portfolio encompassing individual companies and multi-entity group structures.
- Provide comprehensive tax advisory services to partners and clients covering:
- Entity formation and structuring (corporations, LLPs, and alternative vehicles)
- Corporate reorganization and restructuring initiatives
- Multi-company tax planning and optimization strategies
- International tax planning and compliance matters
- Venture capital and investment relief schemes
- Real estate and corporate transaction advisory
- Tax due diligence analysis and reporting
- Identify and pursue tax-efficient strategies for client benefit, collaborating closely with partners on execution.
- Oversee billing administration and work-in-progress tracking across assigned portfolios.
- Lead team development through direct line management of junior professionals and active participation in staff mentoring, skills development, and performance evaluation processes.
- Contribute to practice expansion through active networking participation and potential engagement with specialized industry focus groups.
- Support broader team leadership responsibilities including staff supervision, professional development coordination, and evaluation process management.
Required Qualifications & Attributes
- Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional work quality with commitment to outstanding client service delivery.
- Strong client relationship management capabilities with proven ability to work autonomously, collaborate effectively in team environments, and exercise persuasive influence in professional negotiations.
- Superior communication skills across all organizational and client hierarchy levels, both internal and external.
- Innovative thinking with proven ability to identify strategic tax opportunities while recognizing potential compliance challenges.
- Established experience managing sophisticated client portfolios including complex group structures.
- CTA qualification highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Alpha tax software experience beneficial.
