- Support with defining scope, deliverables and resource requirements for piping design packages, providing accurate input to risk identification and change management.
- Represent the Mechanical and Piping discipline in client meetings and technical discussions, resolving complex design queries and coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure technical integrity.
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated, high-quality project solutions, providing checking of multi-disciplinary deliverables where required.
- Lead 3D 30%, 60% and 90% model reviews gathering input from client SME’s.
- Distribute work packages efficiently to more junior members of the project team.
- Mentor and develop engineers and apprentices, promoting a culture of engineering excellence, quality and continuous improvement across the team.
What We’re Looking For: The successful applicant will lead technically challenging, high-impact projects while playing a key part in shaping and enhancing the capability of the Mechanical and Piping discipline. Preferred Profile:
- A minimum of a HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Experience delivering detailed piping design within industrial, energy or infrastructure sectors, with strong working knowledge ASME B31.3 Standards is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead project design scopes, coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and engage confidently with clients, vendors and senior stakeholders.
