The Role
You'll play a crucial part in financial reporting, analysis, and business support activities. Working within a dynamic finance team, you'll be responsible for statutory reporting, reconciliations, and providing analytical insights that drive business decisions across multiple divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting
- Conduct comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
- Support annual statutory accounts preparation and audit processes
- Perform detailed financial analysis including variance reporting and forecasting
- Collaborate with internal audit teams and external auditors
- Develop business cases and cost-benefit analysis for strategic projects
- Support VAT submissions and regulatory compliance requirements
- Provide cross-functional business partnering and financial insights
Essential Requirements
- ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified (or finalist level)
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis
- Experience with statutory accounts and audit environments
