Job Title: Personal Tax Assistant Manager – growth to Manager available
Location: Essex, CM1

Your Core Responsibilities:
- Lead a large, varied portfolio of individuals and unincorporated businesses
- Oversee the complete compliance cycle from preparation to HMRC submission
- Manage annual filing processes across all personal tax compliance matters
- Review complex work to the highest standards while identifying planning opportunities
- Complete bespoke tax planning reports for high-value clients
- Identify and pursue tax planning opportunities independently
- Deliver ad-hoc advisory projects requiring commercial insight
- Line manage and mentor junior tax team members
- Provide internal tax training and technical guidance
- Lead by example demonstrating integrity and quality standards
- Collaborate across multiple office locations to improve processes
- Promote the Tax Service Line across the entire group
- Assist teams in other locations with complex tax matters
- Leverage cutting-edge tax technology for efficient service delivery
- Drive business development through client relationship excellence
The Individual:
- CTA qualification preferred with strong personal tax technical knowledge
- Proven advisory experience beyond pure compliance delivery
- Portfolio management track record across varied personal tax situations
- Team management capabilities with mentoring and development experience
