What will you be doing?
You'll take the lead on a varied portfolio of successful OMBs, entrepreneurs and privately owned businesses, providing high-quality tax advice while identifying opportunities to add genuine commercial value.
Your role will include
- Acting as a trusted adviser to business owners, shareholders and senior management.
- Leading corporate tax advisory and compliance engagements.
- Advising on acquisitions, disposals, restructures and group reorganisations.
- Supporting clients with succession planning and exit strategies.
- Advising shareholders and directors on tax-efficient remuneration and extraction.
- Providing practical advice around business growth and changing ownership structures.
- Working closely with accounts, audit and wider advisory teams to deliver joined-up solutions.
- Reviewing complex corporation tax computations and returns.
- Developing existing client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Building relationships with new clients and helping grow your own network.
- Mentoring and developing the next generation of tax professionals.
- Playing an active role in shaping the continued growth of the Manchester tax team.
