Mixed Tax Senior
Manchester | Hybrid | £35,000-£42,000 + benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mixed Tax Senior to join a growing accountancy firm in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Tax Senior looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive team, working with a varied portfolio of clients and gaining exposure across both personal and corporate tax.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio and assisting with a range of tax compliance and advisory work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors
- Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns
- Dealing with HMRC correspondence and client queries
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory assignments
- Building strong relationships with clients
- Managing your own workload and meeting deadlines
- Working closely with Managers and senior members of the tax team
- Supporting junior members of the team where required
- Getting involved in more complex tax matters as your experience develops
About You
We're looking for someone with solid tax experience gained within an accountancy practice.
You could be currently working as a Tax Senior, Mixed Tax Senior, Personal Tax Senior or Assistant Tax Manager.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Strong UK tax knowledge
- Experience across personal and/or corporate tax
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Good client management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage your own portfolio and deadlines
- ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification would be advantageous
