Based in Manchester, the role would suit an experienced practice professional who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to develop their technical, commercial and advisory skills within a progressive environment. As a Senior Accountant, you'll work across a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, taking responsibility for a broad range of accounts, tax and client service work. This makes the role ideal for someone who enjoys embracing new technology and finding more efficient ways of delivering high-quality work. Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients Preparing management accounts and providing financial insight Supporting with corporation tax and personal tax compliance Building strong relationships with SME and owner-managed business clients Working with cloud accounting systems and digital tools Supporting clients with Xero and other technology-led accounting solutions Supporting senior colleagues with advisory and project work Helping to ensure work is delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines Developing your commercial understanding of clients and their businesses You'll have strong experience within UK accountancy practice and be comfortable preparing accounts and dealing directly with clients. You may be ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience, provided you have the technical capability and ambition to take ownership of a senior-level role.
