The Role As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of accounting services while acting as a trusted point of contact for clients. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and commercially valuable advice. Key responsibilities will include: Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for a diverse client portfolio Supporting the delivery of financial reporting and management information Completing tax-related work and ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved Managing client queries and building strong professional relationships Reviewing financial records and identifying areas for improvement Assisting with process improvements to enhance service delivery Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team where required Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business About You The successful candidate will ideally bring experience from a professional services or client-focused finance background, with the confidence to manage workloads independently and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. You will ideally have: Previous experience operating at Senior Accountant level or within a similar position Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail Experience preparing accounts and supporting compliance requirements Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines A proactive mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas and improvements Experience working with businesses within the healthcare industry would be advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable experience will also be considered.
