Job Description Accounting Manager This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established accountancy firm where you can take ownership of a portfolio, build trusted client relationships and have genuine influence over the service provided. As an Accounting Manager, you'll manage a varied portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact while overseeing the delivery of accounts, tax and wider advisory work. This is a role for someone who enjoys combining technical accounting knowledge with strong client management. You'll work closely with business owners and senior stakeholders, while also supporting junior team members and contributing to the continued development of the practice. Based in Wembley, the role offers a strong balance of client ownership, technical responsibility and progression within an established accountancy environment. Overseeing the preparation and review of year-end and statutory accounts Supporting clients with corporation tax and personal tax matters where appropriate Building long-term relationships and becoming a trusted adviser to your portfolio Providing coaching, guidance and technical support to colleagues Identifying opportunities to introduce additional services and strengthen client relationships Working closely with partners and senior management on more complex client requirements Helping to improve processes and maintain high standards of service delivery Taking an active interest in the commercial performance and development of your portfolio You'll ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified, or have significant relevant experience within practice, with a strong grounding in accounts and tax.
