You'll take on real responsibility early, supporting and delivering audits while building your technical and leadership skills.
Key responsibilities:- Take responsibility for audit assignments, reporting directly to Managers/Directors/Partners
- Prepare high-quality audit files in line with UK standards
- Support the preparation of statutory and non-statutory accounts
- Draft journals involving more complex accounting areas
- Supervise and review junior staff work, supporting their development
- Liaise with tax teams and clients to resolve queries efficiently
- Deliver work to budget and deadlines, flagging variances proactively
- ACA/ACCA part-qualified
- Experience within a UK audit or audit & accounts role
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Ability to lead and support junior team members
- Proactive, motivated and keen to take on more responsibility
- Hands-on exposure across a wide range of sectors
