Tax Semi-Senior (ATT Qualified or Qualified by Experience)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum. An established accountancy practice is seeking a Tax Semi-Senior to join its friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and play an important role in delivering high-quality client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of sole trader year-end accounts, financial statements, and tax computations.
- Assisting clients with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements and implementation.
- Providing tax and financial support to a varied client portfolio.
- Supporting strategic consultancy and financial management services where required.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Working closely with senior management to ensure excellent client care and smooth day-to-day operations.
- Contributing ideas and initiatives to improve efficiency, processes, and technology within the practice.
About You
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment is essential.
- ATT qualified, or qualified by experience with a minimum of 5 years' relevant practice experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- A proactive approach and an interest in improving systems and ways of working.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
