The Role:

My client is a leading independent accountancy practice undergoing continued growth. Since being established in the 90s, they are continuing to deliver work with clients locally in South Wales, extending to across the UK and globally. The clients can range from sole traders to international quoted groups, with their focus being serving privately owned businesses, the entrepreneurs who run them and those who have generated private wealth. As a result of their plans to continue to expand, they are looking to recruit a Mixed Tax Manager to join their journey within the Tax Department.

What to expect:

  • Your work will include running a portfolio of clients both corporate and personal, ranging from entrepreneurial private companies to subsidiaries of large groups.
  • Focus will be on managing the clients' tax compliance affairs and day-to-day client management.
  • Significant exposure to varied tax advice work on client portfolio and ad hoc queries.
  • Help manage a team of Tax Assistants and Seniors working alongside colleagues.

Must have experience:

  • Experience of dealing with personal tax compliance and advisory matters on a range of clients.
  • Experience of dealing with corporate tax compliance and advisory matters on a range of clients.
  • The ideal candidate is preferably CTA qualified but they will also consider those qualified by experience.
