About the Role

We are looking for an experienced audit professional to join our growing Public Sector Audit team. From your first day, you will be supported to learn, develop, and make an impact. You will work within a local team, gain national experience, and help strengthen public trust through high-quality audit work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Audits: Manage a portfolio of audits across local government, NHS, and central government clients, ensuring all work meets regulatory and quality standards.
  • Deliver Quality: Oversee audit planning and execution, review deliverables, and ensure compliance with auditing standards, FRS 102, IFRS, and the Companies Act.
  • Build Relationships: Act as a key contact for clients, responding to queries promptly and supporting effective communication and billing.
  • Coach Develop: Supervise and mentor assistant managers and seniors, providing feedback, reviewing work, and guiding fieldwork teams.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with senior managers and partners to deliver efficient, insightful, and high-quality audits.
