Job Description
Accounts Senior – Northampton (Full or Part-Time)7-Month Fixed-TermContractSalary: £34,000 – £38,000 (pro rata for part-time)Hybrid & Flexible Working AvailableKey Details:
- Temporary maternity cover
- Hybrid working: 3 days office / 2 days home
- Flexible hours around core time (10am-4pm)

Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory accounts (sole traders, partnerships, limited companies)
- Review corporation tax computations
- Manage assignments across multiple sectors
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Liaise with seniors, managers, and partners
- Use CCH, Sage, Xero, IRIS software
- Ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist
- 3+ years UK practice experience
- Strong FRS102 1A knowledge
- Advantageous: SRAs, consolidated, charity, international accounts
- Degree (2:1 or higher) or strong A-Level results
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Strong Excel and IT skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented
