The Role: Here is an opportunity to join a dynamic Private Client tax team, and have the opportunity to deliver exceptional tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of individuals, including clients with international issues, non-UK residents/long-term residents (LTRs), and high-net-worth (HNW) individuals. You will play a key role in advising on cross-border tax matters, helping clients navigate complex areas such as residency, overseas income, and offshore assets. What to expect day-to-day: Managing a portfolio of private clients, including HNW individuals, clients with international matters, and some trusts Preparing and reviewing tax returns and supporting clients with their ongoing compliance obligations Drafting advice on areas including residence, the FIG regime, temporary repatriation facility (TRF) and international tax planning including IHT advice for LTRs/non-LTRs Advising clients on the tax treatment of overseas income and gains, including foreign investments and property Supporting clients with double tax relief claims and wider cross-border tax considerations Providing CGT advice relating to property, shares, and other assets for UK and non-UK resident individuals Assisting clients with offshore income, disclosures, and reporting requirements Building strong relationships with clients and providing practical, commercially focused advice Reviewing the work of junior team members and supporting their development through coaching xdjnayx and guidance Requesting, collating, and maintaining client information, particularly relating to overseas income and assets Maintaining direct contact with clients, HMRC, and professional advisers to deliver an excellent client experience Identifying opportunities to provide additional value to clients and collaborating with colleagues across the wider firm About you: Previous experience in a personal tax compliance and advisory role, with exposure to international and private client matters CTA qual...
