The Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of accounting services while acting as a trusted point of contact for clients. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and commercially valuable advice.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for a diverse client portfolio
- Supporting the delivery of financial reporting and management information
- Completing tax-related work and ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved
- Managing client queries and building strong professional relationships
- Reviewing financial records and identifying areas for improvement
- Assisting with process improvements to enhance service delivery
- Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team where required
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business
About You
The successful candidate will ideally bring experience from a professional services or client-focused finance background, with the confidence to manage workloads independently and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience operating at Senior Accountant level or within a similar position
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
- Experience preparing accounts and supporting compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
- The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas and improvements
Experience working with businesses within the healthcare industry would be advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable experience will also be considered.
