This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager to join a well-established professional services business in Harrow, with a salary of Β£55,000-Β£65,000 depending on experience.

The Role
As Audit & Accounts Manager, you will manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and corporate clients, overseeing accounts and audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will have a good level of autonomy while working alongside senior colleagues and supporting more junior members of the team.
The role would suit someone who enjoys variety and wants to combine technical accounting and audit work with client management, mentoring and opportunities for progression.
What you'll be doing
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients across accounts, audit and general practice services
- Planning and overseeing audit assignments, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard
- Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with relevant UK accounting standards
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and developing strong, trusted xgikmsk relationships
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and provide additional value to clients
- Reviewing work produced by junior and semi-senior team members
- Coaching and supporting colleagues to help strengthen technical capability
- Managing deadlines across multiple assignments and maintaining strong workflow control
- Working closely with partners and senior management on more complex client matters
