An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor working on major infrastructure projects across Scotland and the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in project delivery, supporting earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete and infrastructure works while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Surveying, setting out and volume calculations
- Managing machine control systems and 3D modelling
- Monitoring earthworks progress and reporting project performance
- Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Supporting project planning and resource coordination
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards
- Assisting with commercial reporting and project controls
- Mentoring junior engineers and supporting site teams
Requirements
- Degree or HND in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years' experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong setting out and surveying experience
- Knowledge of Topcon, Trimble or Leica machine control systems
- Experience using GPS, Total Stations and surveying software
- Roads, drainage, earthworks or reinforced concrete experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
