Insite International are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Setting Out Engineer – RC Frame to join a major construction project in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of an experienced site engineering team on a large-scale project, with 5 months of planned work and the potential for continued opportunities.
THE ROLE
- Accurate setting out of RC frames, structures, foundations and associated works
- Carrying out site surveys and producing accurate as-built records
- Ensuring construction is delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and required tolerances
- Providing technical engineering support to the site management team
- Operating, maintaining and managing surveying equipment
- Liaising with subcontractors, supervisors and other project stakeholders
- Monitoring works to ensure compliance with quality, health & safety requirements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer
- Experience working on RC Frame / reinforced concrete projects
- Previous experience on large-scale civil engineering or construction projects
- Proficient with Leica, Trimble or equivalent surveying equipment
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Valid CSCS Card – Essential
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
