SETTING OUT ENGINEER – NEW BUILD POWER STATION PROJECT

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Rate: £300 per day

The Role

  • Accurate setting out of structures, foundations and associated infrastructure
  • Conducting site surveys and producing as-built records
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications and tolerances
  • Supporting site management with technical engineering expertise
  • Managing and maintaining survey equipment
  • Liaising with subcontractors, supervisors and project stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Proficient in the use of Leica, Trimble or equivalent surveying equipment
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
  • CSCS Card (essential)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
