We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established and growing specialist construction contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a financially stable business delivering a diverse range of projects across the education, leisure, commercial and public sectors. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account.
The Role
- Commercial management of multiple projects across the UK
- Cost planning, forecasting and financial reporting
- Subcontractor procurement and account management
- Preparation and agreement of valuations, variations and final accounts
- Contract administration under NEC and JCT contracts
- Risk management and commercial reporting
- Supporting tender and pre-construction activities
- Liaising with clients, consultants and operational teams
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the UK construction sector
- Strong understanding of NEC and JCT contracts
- Experience managing projects from tender through to final account
- Education, leisure, commercial or public sector project experience advantageous
- Degree, HNC or HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
