The OpportunityAs an Audit & Accounts Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of owner‑managed businesses, corporate clients and growing organisations across a range of sectors. You'll work closely with Partners and senior leadership, overseeing the delivery of audit, accounts and advisory services while supporting the continued development of junior team members. This role offers an excellent balance of technical work, client interaction and leadership responsibility, making it ideal for someone looking to further establish themselves within a progressive and ambitious firm.
What You'll Be Doing- Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients across a broad range of industries
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and developing long‑term trusted relationships
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Reviewing statutory accounts, financial statements and corporation tax computations
- Providing practical advice on accounting, tax and regulatory matters
- Ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and legislative requirements
- Managing workflow, budgets and deadlines across your client portfolio
- Supporting Partners with client meetings and business development activities
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional services and add value to clients
- Supervising, coaching and mentoring junior members of the team
- Contributing to staff development, performance management and succession planning

- ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong audit and accounts experience gained within accountancy practice
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients
- Good working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Experience leading audit assignments across a variety of sectors
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Previous experience coaching and developing junior staff
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities
- A proactive and client‑focused approach
