My client is expanding their VAT team and is therefore looking for a qualified VAT Assistant Manager to join their dynamic practice across Central and Southern England. This is a brand new, pivotal role that will help shape their growing indirect tax services.

Location: Central & Southern England

Salary: Up to £55,000!

What You'll Do:

  • Provide technical VAT advisory services to clients ranging from private individuals to £bn companies
  • Liaise and negotiate directly with HMRC on complex matters
  • Conduct VAT health checks and in-depth system reviews
  • Lead planning and management of VAT assignments
  • Support business development and promote our VAT services
  • Work with cutting-edge technology and best-in-breed systems

The Individual:

  • Minimum 6 months post-qualified experience (VAT team preferred)
  • CTA qualified would be ideal
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with commercial awareness
  • Experience communicating with HMRC
  • UK driving licence for travel between their offices
  • Confident, collaborative, and proactive approach
