My client is expanding their VAT team and is therefore looking for a qualified VAT Assistant Manager to join their dynamic practice across Central and Southern England. This is a brand new, pivotal role that will help shape their growing indirect tax services.
Location: Central & Southern England
Salary: Up to £55,000!
What You'll Do:
- Provide technical VAT advisory services to clients ranging from private individuals to £bn companies
- Liaise and negotiate directly with HMRC on complex matters
- Conduct VAT health checks and in-depth system reviews
- Lead planning and management of VAT assignments
- Support business development and promote our VAT services
- Work with cutting-edge technology and best-in-breed systems
The Individual:
- Minimum 6 months post-qualified experience (VAT team preferred)
- CTA qualified would be ideal
- Strong technical and analytical skills with commercial awareness
- Experience communicating with HMRC
- UK driving licence for travel between their offices
- Confident, collaborative, and proactive approach
