We are working with a well-established professional services firm looking to recruit a Tax Associate / Consultant to support the delivery of high-quality tax services to a diverse client portfolio. This role is ideal for an ATT-qualified professional with solid compliance experience who is looking to deepen their technical expertise and progress within a collaborative, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of personal and corporate tax services, working closely with senior team members
- Prepare personal tax returns and supporting documentation for review
- Assist with basic tax planning, compliance work, and ad-hoc tax projects
- Draft client correspondence and respond to routine tax queries
- Develop an understanding of: UK residency, domicile and ordinary residence, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax, Taxation of estates and trusts
- Assist with the preparation of corporation tax computations and returns for straightforward companies
- Take responsibility for compliance administration, including quarterly and year-end processes
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and support team objectives
- Begin developing a specialist area of technical expertise
- Act with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all client interactions
