We are seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join our prestigious boutique accounting practice in Suffolk. This senior role offers the opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and family businesses, providing comprehensive tax planning and compliance services in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Compliance & Planning: Prepare and review complex personal tax returns, manage tax compliance for trusts, estates, and family investment companies, develop tax-efficient strategies, advise on capital gains tax planning, and provide inheritance tax planning advice.
- Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients and advisors, lead meetings, manage diverse portfolios, coordinate with departments, and handle client queries.
- Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor staff, review work, delegate tasks, support training, and contribute to recruitment.
- Technical Excellence: Stay updated on tax legislation, research complex issues, attend CPD courses, and contribute to knowledge bases.
- Business Development: Identify service opportunities, support business growth activities, participate in networking, and maintain referral relationships.
