What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and acting as their trusted adviser.
- Building long‑term relationships and becoming the first point of contact for client queries.
- Reviewing accounts preparation work and ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
- Leading, mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Working closely with Directors and other service lines to provide joined‑up advice.
- Supporting business development activities and helping to identify growth opportunities.
- Understanding client businesses and proactively adding value beyond compliance services.
- Managing workflow and ensuring assignments are delivered on time and to a high standard.
What We’re Looking For
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Previous experience working within UK practice.
- Experience as a Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager.
- Strong client‑facing skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Experience working with owner‑managed businesses and SME clients.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience using cloud accounting software and practice management systems.
- Knowledge of CCH would be advantageous but is not essential.
